Personal Data to be Processed, Collection Method and Legal Reasons
In your transactions made through Online Donation on the website of Balkans Tuna Association, we automatically process only your name and surname from your identity information based on the legal reasons in Article 5 of the Personal Data Protection Law. Your other personal data or credit card, bank information, etc. are not processed by our institution.
The credit card information you provide for donations made through our website is protected by 3D Secure international security certificate and is definitely not recorded by our association.
Purposes of Processing Personal Data
We process your Personal Data for the purposes of collecting, controlling, organizing, recording donations, fulfilling legal, financial and other obligations regarding these in accordance with the relevant legislation, accepting material/in-kind aid, and carrying out legal and other transactions necessary for receiving donations.
Transfer of Personal Data
Your Personal Data may be transferred to persons and institutions as required by the relevant legislation within the framework of legal regulations in order to ensure the fulfillment of the relevant service and to fulfill our legal obligations.
Rights of the Data Subject
Data subjects have the following rights by applying to the data controller:
- Learning whether personal data is processed
- Requesting information about personal data if it has been processed
- Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose
- Knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad
- Requesting correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed
- Requesting deletion or destruction of personal data under the conditions stipulated in the law
- Requesting notification of third parties to whom personal data has been transferred regarding changes to personal data

- Requesting compensation for damages in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data
Application Information
Real persons whose personal data is processed may apply to the Association regarding their requests within the scope of the rights specified in Article 11 of Law No. 6698. Relevant persons can submit their requests in writing to the residence address of our association. The Association finalizes the requests in the application free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.
