Balkans Tuna Association requests some personal information from you in order to provide its services in a healthier and more equitable manner, to be able to reach donors, volunteers and those in need when necessary, and to evaluate the requests of those in need in a healthy manner.

Balkans Tuna Association reserves the right to collect and process personal information considered as personal data within the scope of the Law on Protection of Personal Data, alone and/or combined with other personal data.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, the person accepts that the collection and processing of personal data, contacting through any means of communication, and continuing with the current practice unless preferences regarding data sharing are notified in writing.

In this context, your personal data will be protected by Balkans Tuna Association within the framework of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, which came into force on 07.04.2016, and will be processed within the framework of the consent you have given. We would like to state that; Your Personal Data may be used by us for the purposes of carrying out promotional and informational communications regarding our Association, collecting and compiling statistical information, and developing donation activities.

Your Rights

In this context, our donors whose personal data is processed have the following rights according to the relevant law at any time:

• Learning whether personal data belonging to oneself is processed
• Requesting information about processed personal data if any
• Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether this data is used in accordance with its purpose
• Knowing third parties to whom personal data is transferred, requesting correction of errors in personal data and requesting this correction from the relevant third party if transfer has been made
• Requesting deletion, destruction or anonymization of data when the reasons requiring processing cease to exist, and requesting that this request be communicated to the third party to whom the data has been transferred
• Objecting to the emergence of a negative result related to the person as a result of processed data
• Requesting compensation for damages within the framework of laws in case of damage due to unlawful data processing
